Aitua Ogiamien

Office of the President

Since his tenure began in 2017, President Aitua has transformed the technology infrastructure, implemented new learning module systems, increased the university’s web presence, raised academic standards, and dramatically increased fundraising.

University Administration

Dr. Tony B.E Ogiamien is the Founder and Chancellor of American Heritage University of Southern California, (AHUSC) United States of America. He became the First African/Nigerian to be granted a license to establish the institution in 2004 by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE).

AHUSC is licensed and approved to grant undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in law, business, public policy, and film studies. Graduates of the school are eligible to take the California Bar exam. AHUSC participates in Cross-Border education and currently maintains academic partnerships with universities in India, Philippines, Hong-Kong, Nigeria, and Zambia

Dr. Jay Deb is a seasoned executive recognized for developing an institution of higher education and offering American Higher Education to the population in developing countries. He is Vice President & COO, American Heritage University of Southern California, Ontario, California. He is also associated with the University of Phoenix and Argosy University as Adjunct Faculty teaching quantitative analysis, research techniques, project management, and strategic planning.

He has a proven track record of managing programs related to R & D, technology development, and quality management in biotechnology, food, and biomedical technology industry.

Dr. Aniruddha Pal is a seasoned professional in business administration with over 13 years of experience. He has managed businesses and maintained partnerships with businesses all over the world. In addition to his position at the Head of International Affairs of our institution, he is also a Governing Council Board Member.

Dennis Ruiz was a member of the faculty at Texas Tech University School of Law, where she held the Alvin R. Allison Distinguished Professorship and received every teaching award the law school and the University conferred. She was the Distinguished Fulbright Professor of American Constitutional Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Greece in 1992.

Vernon Lowe first joined the University in 2006 as Assistant Dean for Academic Support Programs. He served as Assistant Dean until 2013, when he became a full time lecturer at the College. He teaches classes relating to legal theory and reasoning, race and law, gender and law, and in the area of commercial transactions.
